  18. I can't help you with AOL but I have the very same modem, purchased at
  19. Price-Costco. Installed and was easily detected by Windows 95 as a
  20. Rockwell based 28.8 V.FC-V.34 modem. Worked first time and hasn't let
  21. me down since Christmas. I get mostly 26,400 connects, but also get
  22. the ocassional 28,800 so I've just chalked it up to noisy phone lines.
  23. I tried calling the BBS number, but it is disconnected. I called the
  24. main phone number after hours one night to see if it was still
  25. connected, and it rang, but I haven't called back to talk to anyone
  26. about the BBS yet.
